Can you name the fruits of the Spirit?
Quite a challenge for some, especially for those who are young in the faith.
Being familiar with these fruits enables the Holy Spirit to help us put them into action in our every day lives.
The games in this pack not only familiarize the players with the fruits of the Spirit, but also help them to see how they work in practice through nine simplified Bible stories.
Most of the games in this pack are suitable for anyone over 7 years, and can be played with 2 or more players. The games consist of:
- Harvest: a simple game of collecting various sets of ‘fruits’, the challenge being to find a Holy Spirit card in order to win!
- Fruit Matrix: the aim is to build a large rectangle consisting of all the sequenced ‘fruit’ stories, as players devise strategies for winning this interesting puzzle game.
- Explain a Fruit and To Be or not To Be: are games which get players talking. How do you apply the various fruits in everyday situations? This game gets players thinking, talking and learning in the context of a fun game.
- Fruits Chains: as the name suggests, is a challenging game in which players lay down ‘chains’ of fruits. A good memory is useful as players try to work out who has the last card of the set!
- Fruit Pics: a totally different sort of game in which players are required to draw or write about the different fruits. This game develops an understanding of the nature of the fruits, whilst at the same time involving all the players in trying to guess the fruit. This is great fun for all the group!
